I love everything Samsung, but this is a real shame. I'll be the first to say I received this for free with a new phone, but I'd be horrified if I'd paid anything for it. The device is slow, the screen is blurry and low resolution, and the track pad very hit and miss. I could definitely put up with all that, given it's free, but I've hardly used it and the battery has failed already. I've restarted, hard-restarted, removed the battery and followed all online advice and it's bricked. I sadly wouldn't pay for a new battery given how poor the device is when working. I would recommend paying a little more for literally anything else - even a tablet.

This is the second time I got one with a phone contract and nothing has changed. It still has obsolete technology - it’s very slow, has minimum RAM and almost no storage. The display is also obsolete with laughable resolution. It’s not a laptop replacement and since you’re using mobile apps, you’d be better off with a tablet. I’d presume the only reason for a Chromebook is to make you use the Chrome and lock you into Google cloud environment. On the positive side, it’s affordable (when thrown in for free). Definitely not worth the full price - you can get a lighting fast iPad Mini for the same money. Perhaps it’s good for a school kid to work on documents in Google Drive. Definitely perfect for a non-technical boomer browsing the internet and checking their email. That’s all.

I have just got it from ee so I need to set it up which will be done tomorrow. The sales lady showed me what it looks like and I was amazed when I saw it. I have been after a chromebook for the past 2 years. So decided to get one as a birthday present for myself as I will be 70 in 3 weeks.

So I've had this Samsung chromebook go for a little over a month now. It was in a promotion when upgrading my mobile phone handset, but for some inexplicable reason, I actually feel like I have been cheated. Now I already have an S25 ultra, smart watch, 10" tablet, tv, home theater system to name a few, all Samsung so I like the technology that Samsung sells as much as the next person, but the chromebook go is something else. It is priced at £299, but to be perfectly frank, I do not understand what you get for that money. The only good thing I can say about it is; it has a nice keyboard. It has an Intel Celeron processor, but it's more like Celewont. It is slow to respond similarly to what a year old laptop did back in 2005, occasionally a program will just fail to launch. There is no Amazon shopping app, so you will have to use Chrome to access your account which is not always convenient. The mouse pad is responsive, but it scrolls up or down at warp 10 randomly, especially when scrolling through listing's, so swearing at this thing will become second nature. Chrome is just as terrible on the chromebook go as it is o. Other devices. Search French fire station architecture and you're shown American fire stations. I had no idea France was so close to America, but Chrome is American so it is to be expected I suppose. The display is only crisp when directly in front otherwise the back lights distorts the picture. Although the screen is 13" some programs and videos only show in the centre of the screen, so the screen size shrinks down to 14.5cm x 8cm and because the screen cannot be rotated like a tablet can making the screen size irrelevant. The memory is also irrelevant because it only really has enough for the operating system. It has a usb-c, usb-a ports and a slot for sd card. Personally I have thrown my Chromebook go in a box and have gone back to using my 10" tablet which is about 4 years old because it is far more superior in every way and yet it is a fraction of the price. I am really finding it difficult to understand what the reason for the chromebook go is. If you want a laptop, just buy a laptop. There are far better machines on the market than this, some will probably be available on temu. Save your money.

Brand new and mouse pad constantly does not work and information to help "fix" the problem does not work or exist. But more importantly can't get to the place to fix it as the mouse pad doesn't work!

it is the best laptop i have ever had the battery lasts all day and it uses the same charger as my phone which makes life so much easier and the laptop is so lite and all my accessories work fine with chrome os.

I just spilled some coffee ( a lot of coffee actually) on my chrome and I thought “ that’s it, it’s done” but for my surprised the laptop it’s working perfectly!! Like nothing happened.. other than that.. excellent tool for work and making your daily routine better and easy!! Highly recommended!!!

Honestly not what I was expecting and a complete waste of space. Spent more time been a paper weight then anything else. I got this Laptop with an upgraded phone and originally wanted the watch that was on offer but since I'm in the business of 3d printing I thought maybe having a decent portable laptop would be the way to go but unfortunately I was seriously wrong. This is basically a phone in the shape of a laptop and completely useless. I should of gone with the watch!!!
